Rudge no. 2, c. 1885

This 56 inch Rudge  is in a wonderful original shape: original paint and even some green lining. The bicycle is a No. 2 with serial number 20894, which indicates 1885-1886.
The pictures of this bicycle show typical Rudge details like rear step, brake lever, brake spoon and of course the Rudge patent ball bearings. It wasn't top of the bill, but a very good and reliable roadster, like the Singer Challenge or the Coventry Machinists Universal Club. It has a ball bearing rear hub.

Thanks Max for the pictures of this beautiful bicycle!
